Let us use the cases of: {{M|F\eq Ma}} - force = mass {{M|\times}} acceleration, and, {{M|E\eq F\ell}} - Energy = Force {{M|\times}} distance (here {{M|\ell}} is used, for "{{M|\ell}}ength")

Dimensions in play:
* {{M|[E]\eq ML^2T^{-2} }}
** {{M|[F]\eq MLT^{-2} }}
*** {{M|[a]\eq LT^{-2} }} for ({{M|L}} being length, {{M|T}} being time)
*** {{M|[M]\eq M}} for ({{M|M}} being mass)
** {{M|[\ell]\eq L}} for ({{M|L}} being length - as above)

We could also do:
* {{M|[E]\eq \mathrm{N}\mathrm{M} }} "Newton Meters" - from {{M|[F]\eq \text{Newtons} }} and {{M|[L]\eq M}}
* {{M|[E]\eq \text{Kg M}\ /\ \mathrm{S}\ /\ \mathrm{S} }} - Kilogram meters per second per second
